Natural History Museum
Well today I went to the Natural History Museum with Debbie. We went through most of the stuff I had not seen yet. My favorite parts must have been the dinosaurs, human evolution, or the part where we went on an escalator through the center of the earth. I took a bunch or pictures of everything. I found out that Cyclopes are real, they had a skull. I saw a lot of rocks, and some pretty gems. There was a part where you go stand in this grocery store, and the floor shakes and simulates an earthquake that supposedly happened in 1995. The shelves and stuff move, but they have everything rigged so it doesn't actually fall over. They even had an animated Tyrannosaurus. We walked around and took pictures of basically everything in the dinosaur area. We looked at some other extinct animals too, like the giant sloth, mammoth, dodo bird, and lots of sea dragons. The ecology part was really cool. It had a giant size model of a plant cell. I wish I had that to look at when I was learning about that stuff. Generally the whole Museum was very interactive like the science museum. There were a lot of red buttons to push, and things to do. I liked it a lot, and hope to go back and get my brain cell that I had my eye on.
