Today I didn't have class, but I had to get up and clean up my stuff so the cleaning service could come and clean the floors and linens. After Breakfast, I went to the CAPA center and used their Internet. I watched some parts of the Chariot of Fire movie again, so I could write my paper. I then watched an episode of the Big Bang Theory. I did manage to get my Aesthetics and Philosophy of Sport papers done. I got another two books in the mail, so now I am just waiting on one more. I went on the tour of the Imperial College, which we are supposed to be members of, but it was pretty stupid. We just walked by the buildings and that was it.
I looked up some weekend travel deals, and I think I want to go to Scotland, Dublin, Paris, Rome, and Germany at the end. There are weekend trips to Paris and Scotland, but they are kind of expensive. I think I can go see the things that I want to see in Paris by myself, and do it cheaper. I do think I want to do the Scotland Weekend trip. It sounds like exactly what I want to do, and since I can't drive, it would probably be better just to go on a tour of Scotland with a group. I think I might take a day trip to Wales as well. I like castles, and Wales has a cool one. I have a 9 day midterm break, so I think I just might wait and visit Paris and Rome then.
An older American Couple stopped me on Cromwell Road today and asked me where Hyde Park was. I had a general idea, but wasn't sure, so I pulled out my map. It's a good thing I did, because she thought we were on the South Bank. Anyways, I got them headed in the right direction. She sounded surprised when I first answered, she said "You're American." I was like "Yes." It was funny.
Apparently when I went to the travel fair the other day I was entered in a raffle for random prizes, and I won two free tickets to The Tower of London. How cool is that? I never hardly ever win anything.
