Yesterday I managed to finish my paper for my Understanding Modern Britain class.  I wrote about how money and customer service are different here.  I wrote it all in just a few hours.  I also wrote my blog post for the honors college, I will upload it to my blog page sometime. 

This morning I woke up and went to Selfridges to visit the Museum of Everything.  I had to go look at the art for extra credit in my Aesthetics class.  Now I just have to write the paper.  After Selfridges, I looked around the stores and went on to Queensway.  I went to the Oriental store and bought Meiji Hello Panda Chocolate Biscuits and a fizzy drink with the marble.  I also got the stuff I went there for: spring rolls and dumplings.  I also went to Sainsbury and used my nectar card. 

While I was walking around this guy asked me if they had men's scarves because I was looking at some women's scarves.  He then asked the storekeeper and he said no.  So this guy comes back to talk to me and asks me where I am from, I tell him as I start walking again.  He then asks if he can walk with me.  I said he could, he didn't seem especially creepy, just silly.  So I walked a bit further along the street then crossed the street and walked back down the other side, the whole time he talked to me about London and such.  He said that most people are not very friendly and talkative, but some are.  I laughed and said yeah.  Eventually we came to the Oriental store and I told him I was going to go in here.  He asked if he should wait for me, I told him no it might be a while.  So yes dad, I did have a British guy following me around today. 

Now we are getting ready to cook dinner.  I am very excited, it is gonna be awesome.

Update:  Our dinner was amazing, and the dumplings were surprisingly good.  I ate tofu as well.  It was pretty good, I can see how some people could be vegetarians if they eat like that.
